Welcome to a more organised life! I talked last week about how I always feel that September is the perfect time for fresh starts and putting new plans or resolutions into place.
As I’ve been gradually chipping away at clutter and mess, I’m amazed at how much better I feel. Hence the inspiration to start what I’m calling Project Organised Life – a place for everything, and everything in it’s place and proper systems to keep my life and home clean and clutter free without having to sacrifice hours of free time to it.
For September, I’m challenging myself to de-clutter one small area each day – and I’ve love for you to join in! Continue reading “PROJECT ORGANISED LIFE: 30 DAY DE-CLUTTER CHALLENGE”
My skin suffers with dehydration generally but especially when the seasons change, and as the weather is starting to get a bit cooler I’ve been taking stock of my dry skin fighting staples – which always means bringing all my hyaluronic acid products straight to the front of my bathroom cabinet.

So many in-flight beauty routines seem super long and, if I’m being honest, completely OTT.
Taking care of your skin in flight is one thing but carrying out a full skin care routine? To me, that seems kind of inconsiderate to whoever gets stuck sitting next to you – for me there’s nothing worse that being sat next to someone who fidgets around for hours on a flight.
Maybe if you’re flying in first and have masses of room or you’re travelling with someone you know won’t mind your endless moving around from one lotion and potion to the next throughout the flight this isn’t a problem but, for most of us in the real world, a cramped airplane seat really isn’t the place for a full on pamper session.
That being said, I do like to take a few steps to try to minimise the damage of long haul flights on my skin. So here’s my realistic in-flight beauty routine. Continue reading “A REALISTIC IN-FLIGHT BEAUTY ROUTINE”
There’s something about September, whether it’s the hang-over of a new school year or the changing of the seasons (I’ve always been more of an autumn-winter girl than a spring-summer one), but I’ve always thought of September as a much better time of year to set yourself some goals or resolutions to help get your life in order.
