It’s monthly favourites time! These are the items I’ve been using and loving this month…
Sleek Barekissed Illuminator in Cuba, £8.99, available here.
I raved about this wonder product in my review so it’s no surprise that it made it into my monthly favourites and there’s really probably not a lot more I can add, but I’ve been reaching for this on almost a daily basis. I think it’s going to be a staple in my make-up bag for a long time.
Dior DIORshow Waterproof Mascara in 090 Black, £24.50, available here.
I’m obsessed with this mascara, both the waterproof and regular version. It’s been my all time favourite for so long – everytime I run out, I try a new one and I still haven’t found anything that compares with this. Even though it’s pretty expensive, I find it’s 100% worth it. The super fat brush gives amazing volume, length and holds a curl fantastically well. For me, nothing else has ever come close to this and having a new one back in my stash this month has just confirmed that for me. Holy grail status for me.
ByTERRY Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moon, £29, available here.
I used this so much last year and then seemed to forget about it but it’s back in rotation and reminding me just why I loved it so much. I haven’t used another eyeshadow all month. Yes, at £29 it is expensive, but the quality is great – highly pigmented, easy to blend but then sets in place and doesn’t move. Bronze Moon is a perfect shimmery bronze shade that you can easily wear as an all over the lid shade for a quick and easy look or use as a one shadow that does all and blend out / build up to create variations in colour to create a smoky eye. It’s also fantastic for using on the lower lash line for some extra definition and colour on days when you don’t want to do go full on with your eye liner.
NARS Larger Than Life Long-wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto, £19, available here.
First up, this stuff does.not.budge. It’s a deep, dark matte black and the claims of being completely smudgeproof are totally true. I generally don’t wear eyeliner on a daily basis because I find it tends to smudge really quickly on me but this has me converted. The texture is creamy and they glide across the skin and lash lines with ease, so there is no tugging or pulling the delicate skin around your eyes.
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee and Tiramisu, £5 each, available here.
As the name suggests these glosses are buttery soft and smooth. If you don’t like scented products then these probably aren’t for you, but I love them. Both of these shades (Tiramisu is the darker of the two) are perfect everyday nudes. These have fast become my go-to shades – the wear time is good, for a gloss, and they feel moisturising and not sticky on the lips. Love them.
Una Brennan Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Glow Boost Skin Serum, £16.99 available here.
I’ve been reaching for this every morning – a pea sized amount does the job here as an amazing pep me up for my skin. Enriched with hyaluronic acid, algae extract to moisturise and vitamin C it really does help give the skin a little extra luminosity.
What have you been using and loving in March?
