HOW MUCH DOES MY FACE COST?

I’m kind of obsessed by the ‘How Much Does Your Face Cost’ Tag – this is where you make a note of all the products you have on your face for any one day, note the cost of each item and then total it. Now obviously you won’t be using an entire bottle of foundation or an entire lipstick in one go, but them’s the rules!

I knew that I used quite a few higher end products but I honestly thought the products I used were more of a 50/50 split between high end and drugstore. I was sure this would clock in around the £100 mark but realised it was going to be bad when the first product I added to the list ended up being nearly £40. I feel a little bit embarrassed! And a bit more protective of the contents of my make-up bag…

I don’t think this makes me want to use less products or necessarily buy cheaper make-up, as I do love all the products I use, but it has certainly made me more aware of how quickly things add up so perhaps I should be hunting down some more drugstore bargains where I can. I dread to think what the total would be for a night time look…
