Back with another quick run down of some of my recent empties with my quick thoughts on each and links to any full reviews I have done…

COLAB Dry Shampoo in New York – Loved this. I can only ever use the Batiste dry shampoo that is designed for those with brown hair as it’s the only one that doesn’t show up as white on my hair – which means I miss out on all the lovely scents on offer. This stuff smells fantastic and is completely invisible. Plus, it’s super affordable.

Would I repurchase?  Yes

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Fixing Shine Hairspray – Firstly this smells gorgeous, when you use it it just has that really nice hairdressers smell – if that makes any sense?! It’s non sticky with great hold, doesn’t dry down and leave any flaky white bits in your hair and definitely adds a little bit of extra shine to the hair.

Would I repurchase?  Yes

Eucerin Replenishing Face Cream – I rave about this all the time. It works fantastically for me and at around £10 is a really good price point. You can read more of my thoughts on this here, here or here.

Would I repurchase?  Yes – always!

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation in 200 Soft Beige – This is a really decent drugstore foundation – for £7.99 there isn’t much I can complain about. The coverage is excellent, as is the wear time, and Soft Beige was a great match for me.

Would I repurchase?  Possibly

Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation in 25 Nude– Again, I’ve raved about this before. I wouldn’t be without it for covering up my hyperpigmentation and blemishes – you can read my thoughts in more detail here.

Would I repurchase?  Yes – it’s an eternal repurchase

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara in Black – I received this as a sample with a Bobbi Brown order. I love the way this looks – giving deep, deep black lashes and providing length and volume. My only complaint was that after a long day I did find it dried out and flaked a bit on my lashes.At £23.50 it’s a similar price to the DIORSHOW mascara (my holy grail mascara) so I’m not sure I’d repurchase this in a full size. It’s a really good mascara but my Dior just beats this. However, you can buy these smaller sizes which are great to have in my handbag so I’d definitely think about getting another mini.

Would I repurchase?  Probably not a full size, but the mini is great

Maybelline Illegal Length Fiber Extensions Waterproof Mascara – I didn’t really get on well with this mascara. I found the brush quite scratchy and the fibre extensions just didn’t seem to want to actually stay on my eyelashes. Spending the day feeling like you constantly had these tiny little fibres getting into my eyes was super annoying and, as I have pretty sensitive eyes, left my eyes feeling pretty irritated by the end of the day.

Would I repurchase?  No

Dove Go Fresh 48H Deodorant in Cucumber & Green Tea Scent – Reviewing a deodorant feel weird but just a quick note to say that this smells AMAZING. It’s my go-to deodorant scent of choice now – seriously, I’ve had friends say how nice I smelt and ask what perfume I was wearing and the only thing I had on was this.
