FRIDAY FIVE: DUTY FREE WISHLIST | THE REPURCHASES

I talked last week about the items I’m hoping to scout out in Duty Free later this month. Today I thought I’d share my second wishlist – the essential repurchases that I always try to buy when I’m in Duty Free to save a few pennies on the products I know I’ll always use.

These are all products that would make any Holy Grail list of mine – I’ve been using them for years and can’t see them getting set aside anytime soon. They’re all amazing and I know I can rely on them to always work.

EMPTIES #2

Back with another quick run down of some of my recent empties with my quick thoughts on each and links to any full reviews I have done…

Empties #2

COLAB Dry Shampoo in New York – Loved this. I can only ever use the Batiste dry shampoo that is designed for those with brown hair as it’s the only one that doesn’t show up as white on my hair Continue reading “EMPTIES #2”

STEAL HER STYLE: KHLOE KARDASHIAN

Am I the only person who massively over organises before they go on holiday? Not only do I have packing lists for everything from clothes to beauty products, I also plan out my “airport outfit” well in advance.

I spotted this picture of Khloe Kardashian and loved the look. I’m planning on taking elements of this for my outfit to travel in – although I’ll be ditching the high heels and mac for the airport because, well, I’m not a Kardashian! Flats all the way, for hiking through the airport, and an oversized cardigan that will keep me cosy throughout the flight.

Here’s how to get the look…

FRIDAY FIVE: DUTY FREE WISHLIST

In case you haven’t picked up on the ever so subtle references in, like, ALL my recent posts – I’m going on holiday in a couple of weeks. I’m a complete plane nerd so I love airports and I reserve a special place in my heart for Duty Free! High end make-up with money off?? Yes please!

I’ve always been a ridiculously organised traveller. I plan out my outfits so I don’t overpack, have a killer in-flight routine and this organisation also extends to thinking about what I’d like to pick up in Duty Free. My make-up and skincare wishlist is about a mile long now so it’s nice to have a list to focus on so I don’t get too distracted whilst wandering through.

Here are five of the products making their way onto my list… Duty Free Wishlist

  1. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation, £31.50
Cynthia from Beautylicious Style recommended this to me in the comments section of my post about my foundation staples. It sounds like something I’d love so I’m hoping to pick one up.
  2. MAC Powder Blush, £18.50
I’m not totally sure which colour/s I’ll end up getting but I think Desert Rose looks like it would be beautiful with a tan. Let’s face it, there’s a strong possibility that I could end up with all the blushers from my dream MAC blusher palette post!
  3. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Sycronized Recovery Complex II, £50
As I mentioned in my skincare wishlist post a few weeks back, I’ve been wanting to try this for quite a while but it’s so expensive I couldn’t really justify it but, with a bit of a discount it seems a totaly justifiable purchase!
  4. MAC Lipstick, £15.50
The list of MAC lipsticks I want to try is just ridiculously long so I’m not sure what I’ll end up picking up but at the moment Twig and Russian Red are high up on my list.
  5. Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Perfume, £50
I’ve heard so many people rave about this and describe it as just being summer in a bottle so I’m hoping to have a sniff in person and grab one if it’s as delicious as people say.

Watch out World Duty Free, I’m coming for you…

Anything else I should be keeping my eye out for at the airport?
