travel bucket list.jpgSo… I guess I could get into a super long explanation of why I haven’t been posting since May but, honestly, that’s just a tale of woe and misery that nobody wants to hear and I really don’t feel ready to put fingers to keyboard about. Instead, let’s jump back into a Friday Five. Because nothing cheers me up like thinking about holidays…

I’ve always been the kind of person that gets thoroughly over-excited at the promise of snow so, when this time of year rolls around, I can’t help but day dream of taking a short break to somewhere that looks like an idyllic Christmas card scene. Here’s what makes the top five for my dream winter vacation…

Lapland, Finland
Surely Lapland is on everyone’s snowy dream vacation list? As a self confessed Christmas addict the thought of visiting Lapland definitely takes the number one spot for me. And you’d best believe I’d want to stay in one of those incredible glass igloos… Continue reading “FRIDAY FIVE: TRAVEL BUCKET LIST | WINTER EDITION”

Around this time every year my family ask me to give them some hints for birthday presents I might like – yes, my birthday isn’t till next month but, who turns down an excuse to make a list of the items they’re currently coveting?

How have I only just found about this?? I’m ridiculously excited to hear that Kat Von D Beauty is going to be available in the UK later this month, meaning us Brits can finally get our hands on a line that has been exclusive to Sephora for so long now. The Gods of Make-Up have been kind to us. No more stockpiling on trips to the US or paying extortionate shipping fees.

Clearly this news means I need to put together a little shopping list of the Kat Von D products I’m wanting to try out…  Continue reading “KAT VON D BEAUTY IS COMING TO THE UK”

I talked last week about the items I’m hoping to scout out in Duty Free later this month. Today I thought I’d share my second wishlist – the essential repurchases that I always try to buy when I’m in Duty Free to save a few pennies on the products I know I’ll always use.

These are all products that would make any Holy Grail list of mine – I’ve been using them for years and can’t see them getting set aside anytime soon. They’re all amazing and I know I can rely on them to always work.
